Safety is built into the product, but it is also a shared responsibility

Safety Center

Boolby uses blocking, reporting, verification, 2FA, AI-assisted moderation, human review, warnings, bans, and appeals to reduce harm. You still decide who you talk to, what you share, and whether to meet someone outside Boolby.

Block instantly

Blocking removes future contact and keeps the person out of your Discover deck.

Report safely

Reports are confidential and can include profile or message context for review.

Use verification

Verified badges help show that profile photos match a real person.

Pause when needed

Pausing hides your profile from discovery surfaces without deleting your account.

Watch for scams

Be careful with money requests, crypto, gift cards, phishing links, and pressure to leave Boolby quickly.

Protect your account

Use a unique password, 2FA, recovery codes, and trusted-device controls.

Chat and profile safety

  • Do not share your password, 2FA code, recovery codes, or verification links.
  • Be careful with users who quickly pressure you to move to Discord, Snapchat, Telegram, WhatsApp, or other apps.
  • Do not send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, in-game items, or payment details.
  • Report impersonation, harassment, threats, scams, adult-service promotion, and suspicious links.
  • Use Block first if someone makes you feel unsafe.

Personal information

Treat your full name, address, workplace, school, financial details, government IDs, exact location, and private social accounts as sensitive until you have built real trust.

Boolby will never ask for your password, full payment-card number, 2FA code, or recovery code through chat.

Meeting offline

  • Meet in a public place for the first time.
  • Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back.
  • Arrange your own transport so you can leave whenever you want.
  • Keep your phone charged and accessible.
  • Do not leave drinks unattended or accept drinks you did not see being poured.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave.

If you are in danger

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Boolby is not an emergency service. Once you are safe, report the account so we can take action inside Boolby.
