Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Boolby may also use local storage, session storage and similar technologies. This policy calls them all "cookies" for simplicity.

Necessary cookies and storage keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember OAuth/social-sign-in and security-flow state, support 2FA trusted devices, keep CSRF/session protections working and allow the Service to function. These are required for the requested service and are not used as optional advertising cookies.

Boolby may store theme, language, dismissed banners, filter preferences and other local choices so the app feels consistent after refresh.

Boolby offers optional first-party analytics to understand how people find and use Boolby and to improve the Service. When you accept Analytics, Boolby may create a first-party anonymous identifier and session information on that device and record consented events such as page visits, acquisition/referrer and campaign information, signup/onboarding steps, Discover usage, feature interaction, performance and sanitized error categories.

Optional browser analytics identifiers are only created after you accept Analytics. If you choose Necessary only, Boolby does not create them and removes existing local analytics identifiers from that device. Core account use remains available.

Boolby's Growth & Marketing analytics is designed to measure product and campaign performance without copying private message bodies, passwords, authentication tokens or payment-card data into analytics events. Boolby does not sell personal data to advertisers. The current Cookie settings do not enable a separate advertising-cookie category.

Payment providers, email providers, hosting providers, security tools and other service providers may use their own cookies or logs when you interact with their services.

You can change optional Analytics at any time from Cookie settings in Boolby. You can also clear cookies and site storage in your browser, but this may sign you out, remove trusted-device state, reset preferences and break some flows until you log in again.

Boolby can update this Cookie Policy when cookie categories, providers, product features, law or technical implementation changes.
