Completing your profile

A complete profile gets better matches. Boolby uses your profile details to understand who should see you and who you should see.

A profile photo is optional. You can skip the photo step and continue onboarding. Without an approved profile photo, your connection preference is limited to Gaming Buddy and Boolby will not match you for Friendship or Dating.

The photo does not need to show your face. It can be any image that follows Boolby's image rules. Photos that are pending review, rejected, blocked, or removed do not unlock Friendship or Dating.

When an uploaded photo is approved, Friendship and Dating become available automatically in your profile and Discover filters. If you later remove your final approved photo, those two options are locked again and your connection preference returns to Gaming Buddy.

Strong profiles usually include:

• A short bio that sounds like you
• Your favorite games
• What you are looking for
• Languages you speak
• Active hours
• Playstyle and social-energy choices
• An approved image if you want to use Friendship or Dating

You can update your profile from Profile → Edit. Some changes affect Discover immediately; others can take a few minutes to refresh.
