Boosts and swipe limits

A boost increases the chance that your profile is shown in Discover for 30 minutes. It does not guarantee likes or matches, and it does not change another user's filters or safety rules.

While a boost is active:

• Your profile receives higher Discover priority where you are an eligible match
• Your own boost card shows that the boost is active and how much time remains
• Other users may see a subtle visual glow around your profile card
• Boolby does not show a public “Boosted” advertising label

Use boosts when more people are likely to be online. Evenings and weekends can be useful, but results depend on your profile, filters and the number of nearby compatible users.

Free, Plus and Pro receive different monthly Boost allowances. Monthly Boosts reset at the next allowance cycle and do not roll over. Boosts bought separately or received through a coupon are stored in a purchased balance and do not expire. Boolby always uses the monthly balance first.

The Upgrade page shows the combined balance, the monthly and purchased breakdown, the next refill date, and available one-time packs. Swipe limits are enforced in the background; Boolby does not need to show an exact number of swipes remaining.
