Unlink a social sign-in provider safely

Before unlinking Google, Microsoft, Discord or Steam, confirm that your Boolby account has another working sign-in method.

A safe order is:

1. Confirm your email address.
2. Set and test a password, or keep another linked provider.
3. Review 2FA and save current recovery codes.
4. Disconnect the provider from Settings → Account.
5. Sign out and verify that the remaining method works.

Unlinking removes that provider as a Boolby sign-in method. It does not delete the external provider account, your Boolby profile, matches or chats. If the provider is your only working method and you cannot add another one, contact Support before disconnecting it.
